Hi, I’m Sara. I’ve spent 20 years as a Registered Dietitian helping people build healthier relationships with food and themselves. I earned my BS in Dietetics from California State University, Sacramento. I’ve worked in clinical settings, research and academia, and private practice. My approach blends science with practical guidance, so you can expect clear, evidence-based steps you can actually use. I’m based in Portland, Oregon, and when I’m not seeing clients you’ll find me outside hiking or skiing, exploring local theater, or traveling to new places. I’m an RD, RDN, and LD, and I’m grateful you’re here to start this journey with me.

Your first session with Sara

Think of our first visit as a conversation. We'll start by reviewing your medical history and any recent lab work or biometrics. We’ll talk about your short-term goals and what you want to achieve. You don’t need to have it all figured out; I’ll guide the conversation. Together we’ll set 1-2 realistic goals to begin with. Our time will be collaborative, with plenty of space to ask questions and express concerns. By the end, you’ll have a clear sense of the next steps and a plan that feels doable and respectful of your life.
