About Sarah
Hi, I’m Sarah – a mom, wife, and Registered Dietitian. I have over 15 years of experience working with people of all ages from newborns to adults. I’ve had the privilege of working in a variety of hospital outpatient clinics, including a pediatric endocrinology practice and a liver transplant program. My focus is on women, kids, and teens and includes specialties in growth concerns, picky eating, diabetes, PCOS, and metabolic syndrome. I love helping individuals improve their health while continuing to enjoy the food they love.
Approach to care
Being a parent and patient myself, I am fully aware that long-term lifestyle change is challenging. My approach is patient-centered and flexible. I believe that “all foods fit” in a healthy eating pattern and that individual goals can be met in a variety of ways. I have practiced all over the country including Los Angeles, CA, Ann Arbor, MI, Savannah, GA, and Columbus, OH and have had the amazing experience of working with individuals from every walk of life. My goal is to help good nutrition fit within your lifestyle and budget while you continue to enjoy your favorite foods and cultural traditions. My approach is based on current research and all recommendations are evidence-based. I worked in medical research before becoming a dietitian and am still a total “science nerd”. I rely on lab values to monitor progress and will collaborate, as able, with the other members of your health care team to give you the best overall care.
Your first session with Sarah
During your first session, I will spend time getting to know you, your lifestyle, and your health goals. I’ll review your medical history, lab results, and your current eating patterns. Together, we will start to create a nutrition plan. By the end of the session, you’ll leave with clear, practical steps to begin making positive changes in your health journey.
