About Sarah
Hi, I'm Sarah, a Registered Dietitian based in Nashville, Tennessee. With three years of professional practice, I support clients in clinical and outpatient settings, drawing on a psychology background and nutrition training to meet you where you are. I earned a B.S. in Psychology with a Minor in Nutrition from Missouri State University, completed my DPD Certificate at Middle Tennessee State University, and finished a Dietetic Internship at National Healthcare Corporation. I wear my RDN and RD postnominals with pride. When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll find me traveling with my husband, cooking, hiking, biking, or lifting weights with my three kids nearby. I know how tight schedules can be, and I’m here to help you make sustainable, everyday changes that fit your life.
Approach to care
My care is rooted in evidence-based practice, empathy, and collaboration. I believe food is more than fuel; it shapes mood, energy, and daily life. Together, we'll explore your relationship with food, understand the science behind recommendations, and translate insights into practical steps you can actually follow. I practice with a Health At Every Size (HAES) mindset and focus on holistic health that honors your mental and physical well-being. My approach is educational and supportive, giving you clear information and tools so you can make informed choices that last.
Your first session with Sarah
Our first appointment is all about you. We'll create a warm, judgment-free space where we review your medical history and labs or biometrics, discuss your current routines, and start talking about goals. Think of it as a conversation, not an evaluation, and you don't need to have everything figured out. We'll dive into your relationship with food and establish a few short-term goals you can begin working on right away. I want you to leave feeling understood, supported, and hopeful about making small, sustainable changes that fit your life.
