About Sarah

Hi there! I'm Sarah, a Registered, Certified, and Licensed Dietitian with nearly 10 years of clinical experience. I began my career at a major academic medical center in NYC, working with diverse patient populations and complex medical conditions, including cardiac, diabetes, oncology, renal, liver, neurology, pediatrics, obstetrics, critical care, and post-op care. I hold a specialty certification in nutrition support and have extensive experience providing nutrition to patients who require enteral and parenteral nutrition.

Approach to care

A fun fact about me is that I have known since the age of 12 that I wanted to be a Registered Dietitian and am currently living my dream every day! The love for what I do will be evident through our sessions and will make our time together even more meaningful. Working with patients in various stages of medical treatment has taught me to meet patients where they are at, and adopt an individualized, balanced, and inclusive approach to care. My strong clinical background lends to providing evidenced-based and sustainable recommendations to help you reach your health goals. I am here to support you, advocate for you, and hold you accountable.

Your first session with Sarah

With a holistic approach to care, I am interested in learning about who you are, not simply what you eat in a day. I will ask many questions about your goals, medical history, lab work, eating and moving patterns, sleep hygiene, and stress levels, as each of these play an important role in your wellbeing. You will also be able to ask me questions and share information about your past experiences and any barriers you have faced. I want to ensure you feel heard and we create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space. We will set a few actionable items that you can implement immediately, and this will help you feel empowered as we embark on your wellness journey together.
