About Sarah
Hi, I’m Sarah. I bring 20 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian with a BS in Wellness Science and an MS in Dietetics. I’ve worked in clinical hospital settings, private practice, and corporate wellness over the years. I specialize in women’s health, weight concerns, GLP-1 support, cravings/food noise, thyroid issues, PCOS, hormones, and emotional eating. My passion started at 14 when my mom was diagnosed with diabetes, and I’ve navigated my own weight and hypothyroidism journey. I’m here to support you with flexible, sustainable habits and a healthier relationship with food. When I’m not working, you might find me traveling, cheering on my kids at a game, photographing a scene, or enjoying morning coffee and my Bible study.
Approach to care
My care philosophy is evidence-based, empathetic, and action oriented. I stay current with research while centering your experience, meeting you where you are and guiding with warmth and no judgment. We'll set practical steps and I will hold you accountable in a compassionate way, with a focus on sustainable change, not quick fixes. I practice with mindful health practices in mind-honoring your body and prioritizing behavior & wellbeing over just focusing on a number on the scale (although we can do that as well if thats your BIG goal!). Holistic care means also addressing sleep, stress, relationships and daily routines, and I empower you with knowledge so you can choose what works for you.
Your first session with Sarah
Our first session is all about you. We'll review your medical history and current life, dive into your relationship with food, and establish short term goals we can start on right away. This isn’t a test or a lecture; it’s a conversation in which I listen deeply to your goals, fears, and motivators. You don’t need to have it all figured out yet. Together we’ll build a plan that fits your life, values, and schedule, so you feel supported and capable as you begin this journey.
