About Sarah
My passion for food and nutrition started in high school and I have worked in inpatient and outpatient counseling settings. My expertise is in kidney care, healthy aging, weight loss, and general health. I understand that nutrition isn’t one-size-fits-all, and I’m committed to providing personalized support to help you reach your goals.
Approach to care
My approach to nutrition care is compassionate, collaborative, and rooted in the belief that when we feel our best, every part of life improves. I partner with clients to build sustainable habits that support long-term health, using evidence-based guidance tailored to their unique goals and lifestyle. Rather than focusing on restriction, I emphasize a flexible, supportive model that centers on what we can add to nourish the body and mind. Whether you're aiming to improve daily well-being or heal your relationship with food, I work with you to create lasting change. Together, we’ll stack small, meaningful habits that lead to big results over time.
Your first session with Sarah
In our first session, we'll take time to explore what brings you to nutrition counseling in a supportive, judgment-free space. We'll talk about your current eating habits, your relationship with food, and your short- and long-term goals. I want to understand not just what you eat, but how food fits into your life. We'll also walk through a typical day of eating to identify patterns and opportunities for change. Nutrition education will be woven in where it's helpful, and together, we’ll create realistic, personalized goals to focus on between sessions. Every session is tailored to you—your needs, your pace, and your preferences. And along the way, we’ll also take time to connect and build a relationship that supports your journey.
