About Sarah
Hi, I’m Sarah Idris, MCN, LD, RD—a licensed and registered dietitian with a strong foundation in both outpatient and inpatient care. I’ve worked with individuals and families for over two years in outpatient settings and am currently practicing in inpatient clinical nutrition. My work focuses on areas including diabetes, heart health, women’s health, healthy aging, liver and kidney conditions, and cancer. I offer online consultations to make nutrition support more accessible, flexible, and client-centered. I became a dietitian because I’ve always been fascinated by how nutrition can support healing, prevent illness, and improve quality of life.
Approach to care
My approach is grounded in evidence-based nutrition and personalized care. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all plans or restrictive rules—instead, I work with you to create sustainable, realistic changes that fit your lifestyle and values. Whether you're managing a medical condition or simply looking to feel better in your body, I focus on education, empowerment, and practical strategies. Our work together will be collaborative, respectful, and always rooted in science, not fads. I aim to help you build confidence in your food choices and make nutrition feel simple and supportive, not overwhelming.
Your first session with Sarah
Your first session is all about getting to know you. We'll take the time to explore your health history, current lifestyle, eating habits, medical concerns, and personal goals. I’ll ask questions that help me understand the full picture—not just what you eat, but how nutrition fits into your day-to-day life. There’s no judgment here—just a supportive space where we can build a practical plan that works for you. By the end of our session, you'll walk away with: A clearer understanding of your nutritional needs Personalized recommendations based on your goals and medical background Realistic, actionable steps you can start implementing right away A plan for follow-up support (if desired)
