About Sarah
A little about me and how I achieve my own personal health and wellness are hobbies such as running, yoga/pilates, meditation, weight-lifting, hiking, traveling, gardening, cooking, beach trips, and spending quality time with family and friends. I love to live within the country or a rural area, as having a lot of space around me and being immersed in nature I find to be very peaceful and grounding.
Approach to care
Welcome! I am both a registered dietitian and a certified yoga instructor. My background in nutrition and yoga allows me to take a very holistic and individualized approach to therapy. My philosophy is to encompass the whole person within my treatment modality. I am here to support, empower you with the utmost empathy on your journey to managing the root cause of your health issues. I believe individualized nutrition, mindful movement, and regulating the gut microbiome and nervous system are some of the most powerful skills I have to help you reach your health goals. I strive to help my clients build back their confidence and become their happiest and healthiest version of themselves.
Your first session with Sarah
In our first session, we will discuss your previous health history, current diet and exercise routine, barriers, and the goals you want to achieve with our time together. The goals we will ensure are both realistic and achievable. I will provide some basic nutrition education that we can build upon at future sessions. At the end of the session, I will send you resources that might be helpful for starting your health journey. Additionally, we will find a time that works best to schedule weekly follow-ups! I do not intend for the first appointment to be too overwhelming for you so the initial session's goal is supposed to be fun, friendly, and a way to get to know each other!
