āSarah was so helpful in getting me back on track with healthy eating habits! Shes very informative and provided helpful suggestions on how to overcome the anxiety i was feeling around food after finding out i have gallstones. I found a love for cooking meals at home again after being so used to ordering out, and iām confident in my meal choices for an active lifestyle. ā

About Sarah
Hi! I'm Sarah, a compassionate, evidence-based registered dietitian offering virtual nutrition counseling tailored to your unique health goals and lifestyle. With a client-centered approach, I specialize in a wide range of areas including IBS / low-FODMAP diet, gut health, celiac disease, diabetes / prediabetes, heart health, and general wellness. Whether you're looking to manage a medical diagnosis, improve digestion, stabilize your weight, or transition to a plant-based lifestyle, I can provide personalized support grounded in current nutrition science. My background is in behavioral health, where I have worked for years with patients suffering with depression, anxiety, psychotic disorders, dementia, and other conditions. As the hospital's Clinical Nutrition Manager, I have led the team of dietitians and shaped the policies directing delivery of clinical nutrition care and meal services.
Approach to care
I have extensive experience helping clients heal their relationship with food and supporting individuals navigating disordered eating or emotional eating, and those exploring intuitive eating practices. Through collaborative meal planning and a non-diet, judgment-free approach, I empower clients to develop sustainable habits, meet their nutritional needs, and feel more confident in their bodiesāwhether that means losing weight, gaining weight, or simply feeling better day to day.
Your first session with Sarah
In our first session together, we will begin by reviewing background information, identifying your health goals, and creating a realistic plan to achieve those goals. Following up with weekly meetings, we will track your progress and adjust the plan if needed. I am happy to follow your preferred style and pace.
