About Sarah

With 16 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian, I’m passionate about helping people become the healthiest version of themselves through the power of food. I hold both undergraduate and master’s degrees in Nutrition and currently teach full-time in the Nutrition Department at a local university near me. While I love educating future professionals, I also enjoy working one-on-one with clients to find realistic, enjoyable food solutions. I believe that food is medicine, and the right foods can heal, prevent, and treat many conditions. I’m certified in weight management and currently pursuing my Culinary Medicine Expert Certification to better connect nutrition science with hands-on cooking. Outside of work, I’m a proud mom to both my kids and fur-babies.

Approach to care

I My approach to care is rooted in putting people first. I strive to create a supportive, encouraging, and safe space where each client feels empowered to explore their unique path to health and well-being. Every individual’s journey is different, and I’m here to help you find what works best for your life, your body, and your goals. Together, we’ll find creative and practical food solutions that fit into your lifestyle. Our sessions are flexible and personalized—some days we might dive into nutrition topics relevant to your concerns, discuss the latest research and recommendations, or set realistic goals and create meal plans. Other times, we may cook together and learn new recipes to build confidence and skills in the kitchen. Whatever is most helpful to you in the moment becomes the focus of our time together. My goal is to help you discover an enjoyable, sustainable way of eating that supports your long-term health and brings you joy.

Your first session with Sarah

On our first visit, we will spend time getting to know each other. My priority is to listen carefully to your story, your needs, and your goals. This initial session is all about understanding where you are now and what matters most to you on your health and nutrition journey. I want to create a comfortable and supportive space where you feel heard and valued. During this visit, we’ll focus on the topics that are most important to you. Whether you have specific health concerns, want to improve your eating habits, or just want to feel better overall, our conversation will center around your priorities. I’ll answer your questions, share relevant information, and help you make sense of what changes could be beneficial. Together, we will work to create a few achievable goals that fit into your daily life.
