About Sarah
Hi, my name is Sarah Schlichter. As a Registered Dietitian, I take a wholistic approach to your health - considering not only diet, but exercise, stress, medications, lifestyle and more in the whole picture. I specialize in feeding families, picky eating, sports nutrition and general nutrition.
Approach to care
I approach each client with empathy and validation. I like to provide pertinent resources (handouts, videos to watch, etc.) that are in line with our topics of discussion each visit. I like to goal set with clients and hold them accountable to them - I love to watch my clients succeed!
Your first session with Sarah
Expect our first session to be an overall picture of what life looks like for you at this moment - we'll discuss your daily eating habits, your favorite foods, your exercise habits, your job, stressors, kids and family life, medications, disease history and more. This will help create our roadmap moving forward. My goal is to establish an environment of trust - this is a non-judgmental and open setting. Follow up sessions will be a little shorter and more targeted, based on previous goals and appointments and new topics that may come up (Example: Focusing on managing stress during the holidays, or talking about eating patterns when traveling).
