About Sarah
Hello, I'm Sarah Sofia. I love good food, and how nutritious meals empowers us to live a full life! I am a Registered Dietitian with five years of experience in nutrition counseling, community health, and food service. I want to simplify nutrition for you, so you feel confident enjoying your food choices. I truly love food, and even when I am not working, you can find me making new recipes in the kitchen to share with loved ones. I also enjoy being active and exploring the world. I bring that same joy and curiosity to our work together.
Approach to care
Evidence guides the recommendations I offer, but your life steers how we put them into practice. I combine current research with a warm, empathetic listening style so we can translate science into clear, actionable steps. We'll set practical goals together, focusing on behaviors that build sustainable habits rather than quick fixes or diet culture. I use a weight-neutral, health-centered lens and address the whole person, including movement, sleep and stress, while teaching skills that help you make confident, lasting choices.
Your first session with Sarah
Our first visit is all about you! Expect a relaxed, judgment-free conversation that centers on your story. We'll review your medical history and take a deep look at your relationship with food, exploring what's working, what's not, and what matters most to you. Together we'll establish one or two short-term, actionable goals that feel manageable and meaningful. You don't need to have it all figured out before we meet. I'll support and educate you in small steps so we can build habits that last. Our work together will be about progress, not perfection.
