About Sarah
Greetings! My name is Sarah Villalpando, a Registered Dietitian, Certified Specialist in Nutrition Support, and veteran. Thank you for taking the time to consider me as your trusted healthcare provider. Whether you’re aiming to address a medical diagnosis via nutrition intervention, seeking weight management guidance (weight loss, weight gain, and weight stabilization), or desire to dial in your performance nutrition, I’ve got your covered. My professional background is a blend of inpatient and outpatient care, as well as one-on-one personal training. Additionally, my unique experience as an Army dietitian has given me the opportunity to work with patients from all walks of life.
Approach to care
I partner with patients to develop sustainable lifestyle changes that support long-term well-being. You can expect honesty with compassion as I’m committed to empowering patients with the tools, knowledge, and motivation they need to make confident, informed food choices.
Your first session with Sarah
In your first session you can expect us to work on what I call your "clinical background". Initial assessments aim to collect your nutrition-related medical history so I have a full picture of how to best assist you. This session gives you the space to help me understand what you want to achieve nutrition-wise. I'm all ears in this session. Once we get a thorough understanding of how we want to move forward, I will help you create short-term and long-term goals. Don't worry, I won't leave you empty handed. You'll be provided introductory nutrition education by the end of session. It's recommended to schedule weekly follow-ups for the first 6 weeks to increase accountability and adherence. By the next session, we'll assess your progress, make adjustments if needed, and delve even deeper into your nutrition interventions. Thank you again and I look forward to working with you!
