About Sarah

Hi, I’m Sarah! I grew up in Michigan and now live in Southern California—still adjusting to winters without snow. I’ve been a dietitian for 15+ years and currently lead a team of dietitians at a Level One Trauma Center. I have a passion for food and nutrition, dedicated to helping people create a healthy relationship with what they eat. I understand how challenging it can be to balance time, budgets, and life's many demands, and I love helping people find practical, realistic ways to nourish themselves without stress or guilt. My approach is supportive, flexible and focused on building habits that fit your life—not the other way around. Outside of work, between hiking, reading, catching live music and keeping up with my two boys’—who play soccer and basketball—I'm always on the go.

Approach to care

Approach to care: My approach is all about helping people build a healthy relationship with food that actually lasts. I recognize that quick-fix, or extreme diets are not sustainable long term, so I focus on setting realistic, achievable goals that fit your life. I work collaboratively with each person, supporting them every step of the way to gain confidence in their body, develop practical habits, and feel more empowered around food.

Your first session with Sarah

What to expect in your first session: Let's kick things off by focusing on you: your health, your habits, and what's important to you when it comes to food. We’ll talk about your current habits, what's working, and any challenges you might be facing, as well as your personal goals. Together, we’ll take the time to create a personalized plan with realistic, practical steps to help you reach your nutrition and wellness goals in a way that fits your life—no extremes, just what works for you.
