About Sarah
Food and science have always guided how I think about health. I’m a registered dietitian with three years of experience working in clinical hospital settings and in research and academia, and I hold an MS in Nutritional Sciences. That mix taught me to blend practical bedside care with evidence-based thinking. Outside of work I recharge by horseback riding and exploring new restaurants, which keeps my curiosity about flavors and food culture alive. I bring that curiosity to every conversation with patients.
Approach to care
I ground recommendations in current research while honoring the whole person, not just lab values. In sessions we’ll focus on sustainable habits that fit your life, using clear, practical steps you can actually use. I work through a weight-neutral lens, prioritizing behaviors and wellbeing over numbers on a scale. I aim to educate and empower you, so together we’ll translate evidence into realistic plans, with empathy, accountability, and no judgment.
Your first session with Sarah
Expect a calm, collaborative conversation that gives us a clear starting point. We’ll review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics you have, and I’ll explain what those results mean in everyday terms. We’ll also set short-term, achievable goals we can build on, so you leave with at least one practical step to try. You don’t need to have everything figured out, just come as you are and we’ll work together from there.
