About Sarah
Hi, I'm Sarah. I'm a Registered Dietitian with 12 years of experience, and I earned my B.S. in Dietetics from Virginia Tech. My career spans clinical and hospital settings as well as community health, and I value working with clients who want lasting change. I hold CDCES and RDN credentials, and I bring a science-based, educational approach to every visit. Outside of work, I love staying active, cooking and trying new recipes, and spending time with my husband, our three kids, and two dogs.
Approach to care
My care is evidence-based and science-focused, grounded in current research and practical strategies that fit real life. I’m known for empathy and warmth, offering a nonjudgmental space where you feel seen. Together, we’ll set clear steps and useful tools that you can repeat, adjust, and sustain. I honor a Health At Every Size, weight-neutral approach and a holistic view that includes sleep, stress, and mood. Education helps you make informed choices with accountability and compassion.
Your first session with Sarah
Our first appointment is all about you. We’ll create a warm, low-pressure space where we review your medical history, lifestyle, and goals. We’ll discuss lab work or biometrics if available and establish short-term goals you can work toward. Most importantly, we’ll get to know each other so you feel heard and supported. By the end, we’ll identify 1–2 realistic next steps and decide how we’ll stay connected as you begin this journey together.
