About Sarah
I love that my work as a registered dietitian combines science, creativity, and genuine human connection. I bring 15+ years of experience working with people to make nutrition, fitness, and lifestyle changes that support their holistic well-being. I specialize in nutrition care for all types of diabetes, prediabetes, insulin resistance, heart health, and other cardiovascular conditions. Whether you’re facing a new diagnosis, trying to manage an existing one differently, or wanting to feel more at ease in your relationship with food and body, I’m here to support you.
Approach to care
My approach to nutrition care is collaborative and personalized. There is no one-size-fits-all way to eat, and lasting change often unfolds gradually through curiosity, experimentation, and self-compassion. Our work together is centered on your needs, preferences, culture, lifestyle, and goals. No matter how you think about your health or how ready you feel to make changes, I meet you where you are and adapt to your individuality. I use evidence-based, weight-neutral approaches including Intuitive Eating, Health at Every Size, and Motivational Interviewing, to support change in a way that feels realistic and meaningful to you.
Your first session with Sarah
Our first session is a peaceful conversation about your health history, routines, food experiences, and what you’re hoping for from nutrition care. Your insight and lived experience are essential to our work together, and I bring clinical perspective, ideas, and options as we build your nutrition care plan with actionable steps. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling supported and confident as you take those steps towards your nutrition and health goals.
