About Sawyer
Hi, I’m Sawyer! With a Master’s degree in Human Nutrition and over 5 years of experience working in eating disorder and disordered eating settings, I specialize in helping individuals navigate their relationship with food and exercise. My focus is on disordered eating, eating disorders, and compulsive exercise – areas that I’ve become deeply passionate about through both professional experience and personal insight. As a mom to two little girls, I’ve also developed a strong interest in prenatal nutrition. I’m committed to helping women through the unique and transformative seasons of preconception, pregnancy, and postpartum, offering individualized support. Whether you’re struggling with an eating disorder or seeking support on your nutritional needs as a new/expecting mom, I’m here to guide you through a sustainable approach to nourishing your body. My goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care that fosters nourishment, healing, and a positive relationship with food.
Approach to care
I strive to create a safe space where clients can explore their relationship with food and body. My priority is meeting clients where they are at—recognizing that each person’s journey is unique, and healing is a deeply personal process. In working together, I aim to support you towards sustainable, evidence-based changes that are approachable, and realistic. Whether it’s restoring a healthy relationship with food, navigating the complexities of prenatal nutrition, or addressing the impacts of compulsive exercise, my goal is to offer support that empowers you to make choices that honor both your body, life, and goals. I believe that health is different for everyone, and I work with each client to create individualized support that feel approachable and maintainable. Ultimately, my mission is to help you create a life that feels deeply nourishing, both physically and emotionally, allowing you to thrive in all areas of life.
Your first session with Sawyer
In our first session, my goal is to make it feel like you're sitting down for coffee with a friend. During this time, we will discuss current and past nutrition history, desired goals, and what your food environment was like in your childhood. We will also have plenty of time for you to ask any questions about our work together. I look forward to meeting you and starting this journey together!
