I believe food should be both nourishing and enjoyable. When nutrition is personalized and practical, it's easier to build sustainable habits that fit into your life, helping you feel your best and stay present for the people and moments that matter most.
Approach to care
While evidence-based nutrition is the foundation of our work, when relevant, I'll discuss how movement, sleep, stress, and other lifestyle factors influence your health. I’ll also provide ongoing accountability to support your progress. After each session, you’ll leave with actionable knowledge and strategies to help you achieve your health goals.
Your first session with Selicia
In our first session, I’ll create a space where you feel respected and comfortable sharing what matters most to you. I’ll gather information about your personal and family medical history, supplement and medication use, and any relevant lab results. We’ll also explore your long-term goals, challenges you’re facing, your relationship with food, eating patterns, intolerances or sensitivities, and how your culture and values shape your choices. Toward the end of the session, I’ll suggest a few short-term targets to help you build momentum and confidence. In future sessions, we’ll adjust and expand these targets to meet your needs.
