About Serey
Hi, I’m Serey, a Registered Dietitian based in Long Beach, CA, with 16 years of experience guiding people to healthier relationships with food. I earned my degree from California State University Long Beach and have spent much of my career in clinical and hospital settings as well as community health programs. My practice is grounded in warmth, clarity, and hands-on guidance, and I bring my postnominals RDN and CLE into every session. When I’m not working, I love reading, hiking, traveling, gardening, and playing with my two mixed husky pups. I’m grateful to support patients with practical, compassionate care.
Approach to care
As a clinician, I base my work on current evidence and proven protocols while staying curious about each person in front of me. I aim to be empathetic and warm, yet direct and action-oriented, helping you translate knowledge into doable steps. I follow a Health At Every Size (HAES) perspective and tailor plans to your life, not the other way around. I see you as a whole person, honoring sleep, stress, and activity alongside nutrition. My educational approach empowers you to choose what fits your values and goals.
Your first session with Serey
Our first appointment is a welcoming conversation, not a test. We'll review your medical history, take a deep dive into your relationship with food, and establish short term goals. We'll create a practical, personalized meal plan together and review your lab work and biometrics to tailor recommendations. You don't need to have it all figured out yet; you can come as you are. We'll set a clear starting point and share what to expect in the weeks ahead, always with warmth and support.
