About Shaina
Shaina Gross is a Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist with 16 years experience in providing nutrition care. She attended Jacksonville State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Family and Consumer Science with a concentration in Dietetics. From there, Shaina went to the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she completed a Dietetic Internship and also earned a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Nutrition. Shaina’s career experience includes the hospital setting and Corporate Dining and Wellness. Shaina has worked with patients in all ages and stages of life from neonatal to geriatric patient populations and she covered a wide variety of disease states.

Shaina takes a personalized approach to nutrition care. her approach recognizes that many factors impact our day to day health decisions, from our dietary preferences to our work life balance. Her goal to is dig into what your day to day routines look like and help you to create a nutrition plan that works for you. Shaina’s mission is to help others take the mystery and confusion out of food, nutrition, meal planning and cooking. Shaina's aim is to equip her patients with the skills and confidence to turn complicated and conflicting nutrition information into everyday opportunities to optimize nutrition and to live life to the fullest.

The first session is all about us getting to know each other. I will explain what to expect when working with me. I will ask you what your goals and expectations are of working with me, and from there we will begin a journey together
