About Shannon
Hi there! I’m Shannon, a registered dietitian with a passion for helping people feel their best through healthy and delicious food. When I’m not working, you’ll find me camping, hiking, or enjoying time with my family. I have three young kids, and motherhood has deepened my love for my work and my belief that nourishment should support both health and real life. I’m dedicated to helping individuals and families build sustainable, joyful eating habits.
Approach to care
Patient-centered, evidence-based nutrition care that is individualized, practical, and sustainable. My approach emphasizes empathy, active listening, and collaborative goal-setting to empower patients to make informed decisions that fit their real lives. I focus on realistic strategies and long-term behavior change rather than short-term or restrictive solutions.
Your first session with Shannon
During your first visit, we’ll spend time getting to know you and your health goals. We’ll review your medical history, medications, lab work (if available), eating patterns, lifestyle, and any past experiences with nutrition or dieting. You can expect a collaborative conversation. Together, we’ll identify priorities, discuss how nutrition fits into your daily life, and outline a few realistic, actionable next steps. You’ll leave with a clear plan, resources as needed, and an understanding of how we’ll continue working together.
