About Shannon
I have been a Registered Dietitian/Licensed Nutritionist for 8 years working as a Public Health Dietitian and a School Food Service Dietitian for the majority of my career. Working as a Public Health Dietitian and School Dietitian I have worked with vulnerable populations that have needed special care, time, and attention.
Approach to care
I have a collaborative, team approach to patient care. I want my patients to feel like we have known each other for years. I want to know all about you so that we can work as a team to help you achieve better health. I will use my expertise to help you feel comfortable with making the necessary lifestyle changes. I am a firm believer that small changes can have a big effect. Rome was not built in a day, and we will work very hard to get you to optimal health.
Your first session with Shannon
During your first session, you can expect the session to be a meeting of the minds. We will use our first session as a way to get to know each other. I will ask you questions about you, your family, medical history, nutrition goals just to name a few. We will create an action plan with S.M.A.R.T goals.
