About Sharon
Sharon has been a registered dietitian for 20 years. The majority of her career has been focused on children, specifically picky eaters, kids with food allergies and Failure to Thrive, ADHD and autism. She is also passionate about helping people break free from diets and embrace mindful eating for a balanced, realistic approach to health.
Approach to care
Sharon believes good nutrition is the foundation for good health, but this doesn't need to be overly complicated or difficult. Her compassionate, empathetic style will help you feel at ease and help you come up with small, realistic changes you can make to improve your health or that of your child. She knows that each family and individual is different and will actively listen to fully understand your unique perspective and challenges. She will celebrate your victories and encourage you to work through setbacks and pivot as needed to ensure your success.
Your first session with Sharon
Your first session will focus on getting to know you, what your goals are and what you've tried before. Sharon will dig deep to get to the heart of the issue, asking questions about what you've tried before, what worked and what didn't. She will learn about your values and find out what changes you are willing to reasonably make to reach your goals and come up with a plan to get you moving forward on your journey to health.
