About Sharon
I have been a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) for more than 25 years. I am also a Mindful and Intuitive Eating Practitioner, have earned a Certificate in Childhood and Pediatric Obesity and a Certificate in teaching Children & Adolescents Yoga and Mindfulness. For the past six years I have focused on children, teens and their families while still seeing adult clients as well. I enjoy getting to know my clients and focusing in on their personal needs.
Approach to care
My approach to care is focused on you and your lifestyle. Where appropriate we will incorporate mindful and instinctive eating approaches. We will address your concerns slowly and thoughtfully. While I am your guide, we will work together as a team to reach both attainable short term and long term goals.
Your first session with Sharon
In your first session you can expect to learn a little more about me and discuss why you have chosen to seek out a registered dietitian. We will delve deeper into your eating, sleeping, physical activity and screen time habits and routines. We will begin to address your challenges in small, impactful and achievable ways. You will leave our first session feeling more empowered and with some short and long term goals to continue your path to better wellness and health.
Hobbies
I love spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy cooking, reading and volunteering for a few non profit organizations near and dear to my heart.
