About Shawna
Hello! Thanks for stopping by. A little bit about myself: I have over 20 years of experience working as dietitian including inpatient, outpatient, management and menu planning. I am great at multitasking. I was raised in California and Washington but currently reside in Kentucky and spend time in Tennessee including Nashville. Besides being a mom to several children, I take care of at least nine pets. I follow through with goals and keep on task. Graduated from two universities many years ago while working full time and part time jobs: even extremely physically demanding jobs. My experience has taught me to be adaptable to change and keep organized. I am new to Nourish and excited to join this outstanding company with so many amazing dietitians and I can't wait to meet you!

I am here to help support you in your nutrition endeavors. I am here to help to you reach your goals: short term goals and long term goals. I am here to encourage you on your path, judgement free. I truly enjoy speaking to people and listening. When I start a task I get it done. I am patient, kind and focused. I understand that change takes time and I am here for you to help guide you down that path. We will work together as a team. You tell me what you want to work on and I will assist you.
Your first session with Shawna
I want to get to know you and what nutrition areas you want to focus on. What are your goals? We will take those larger goals that take time and break them down into smaller goals that you can manage. These smaller goals week by week step by step will guide you to your larger goals. I want you to be successful and knowing that as a team you can reach your achievable goals. We will set up a plan that is personalized to you. Let's go on this journey together.
