About Shayna
Hi! I’m a Registered Dietitian and a mom of two based in west Michigan, passionate about helping people feel their best through real, nourishing food. I work with clients to build sustainable, whole-food–focused eating habits that support energy, digestion, and overall well-being. My approach is compassionate, practical, and personalized — no extreme rules, just simple strategies that fit your life and help you thrive. When I’m not seeing clients, I enjoy spending time with my two little boys, baking, hiking in the woods, and getting lost in historical fiction.
Approach to care
Together we’ll base our work on current research while honoring your lived experience. I’m empathetic and warm, and I’ll meet you where you are with a nonjudgmental, collaborative stance. My approach is holistic, looking at how sleep, stress, routines, and food fit into your life. I believe in sustainable, long term change over quick fixes, and I practice Health At Every Size, a weight neutral framework that emphasizes behaviors and well being. I also aim to educate you so you feel confident making informed choices.
Your first session with Shayna
Our first appointment is all about you. We’ll explore your relationship with food, your goals, and what has or hasn’t worked in the past. We’ll set one or two small, achievable goals to get started and outline a plan that fits your schedule. There’s no pressure to have it all figured out before you arrive; this is a collaborative space where you are heard. I’ll provide guidance, support, and clear next steps so you feel confident moving forward with us.
