About Sheila
Hi, I’m Sheila Zarfati, MS, RD, and I’m passionate about helping people find peace with food and confidence in their bodies. I know how overwhelming and stressful eating can feel at times—especially with all the mixed messages out there. My role as your dietitian is to make nutrition feel approachable, supportive, and aligned with your unique needs. I’ve had the privilege of working in clinical, community, and eating disorder treatment settings, supporting people of all ages and backgrounds. No matter your starting point, you deserve a space where your experiences are validated, your goals are honored, and your body is respected.
Approach to care
I believe nutrition is about so much more than what’s on your plate—it’s about finding balance, freedom, and trust in your body. My approach is rooted in compassion, flexibility, and collaboration. Together, we’ll work on reconnecting with your body’s natural cues, honoring cravings without guilt, and creating a sustainable way of eating that supports both your physical and emotional well-being. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore challenges around food, body image, or health concerns without pressure or shame. Whether you’re navigating an eating disorder, recovering from disordered eating, or simply wanting to feel more confident and at ease with food, my goal is to walk alongside you and offer guidance, tools, and support every step of the way
Your first session with Sheila
Our first session is all about getting to know you. We’ll take time to talk through your story—your relationship with food, your health history, and your goals—at a pace that feels comfortable. There’s no pressure to share everything at once; I’ll guide the conversation with gentle questions and really listen to what matters most to you. Together, we’ll start to identify the areas you’d like support with and set a foundation for our work moving forward. You’ll leave with a sense of clarity, some initial tools or strategies to try, and reassurance that you don’t have to go through this journey alone. My goal is for you to feel heard, supported, and hopeful after our first meeting.
