About Shelley

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics, with a Business Minor, as well as my Master of Dietetic Administration (MDA) degree from Utah State University. I have been working as a dietitian for over 8 years. Previously I taught community nutrition classes through the University of Wyoming Extension. Love to spend time outdoors with family and friends. I live in Western Wyoming, so I enjoy the opportunity to be in the mountains often! My favorite foods include seafood, ice cream, and fresh raspberries! I have two young boys, who keep me busy on the days I'm not working.

Approach to care

It's not what we can take away from your diet, it's what we can add to it to promote your health! As a dietitian, I know the importance of a healthy lifestyle that includes a balanced eating pattern. I live by the philosophy that there are no superfoods, only super-eating patterns! No one is perfect when it comes to diet, so I don't expect you to be either. Let's work together to find what works for you so you can accomplish your goals!

Your first session with Shelley

In our first visit you can expect to spend some time letting me get to know you and vice versa. We will then go over your nutrition and health goals, and discuss what the main reason for your visit is. The first visit may be more question based as I get to know you and your specific nutrition needs.
