About Sherrie
Aloha and welcome to Nourish! I’m Sherrie — Registered Dietitian, Diabetes Care and Education Specialist and National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach. With over 30 years of experience, I’m dedicated to helping people feel better in their bodies and create healthier, more fulfilling lives. I’ve worked across many areas of nutrition, and I now focus on diabetes care and prevention, chronic kidney disease, weight management, and women’s health. I offer appointments on Thursdays and Fridays.
Approach to care
As a wellness dietitian and coach, I blend practical, evidence-based nutrition with motivational coaching to help people feel more confident, take charge of their health, and make changes that truly stick. I believe real, sustainable health comes from balance, mindfulness, and steady habits—not trying to be perfect. My approach is all about compassion, respect, and creating a judgment-free space where growth feels supported and doable. Whether you lean toward a non-diet approach or want help with macros and meal planning, I’m here to guide you. I see each person as the expert of their own life, and I believe true wellness comes from nurturing the connection between mind, body, spirit, and creativity as you work toward your goals and purpose.
Your first session with Sherrie
I know meeting with a dietitian can feel like a big step, so we'll start by creating a safe space where you can talk openly about your health history, eating habits, and daily routine. Together, we’ll explore your nutrition needs, discover your readiness for change, and build a personalized plan that truly fits your goals, values, and lifestyle. Before we wrap up, we’ll set one or two realistic goals for the week and schedule your next visit. Many people find that regular follow-ups for the first few months help them stay motivated and on track. I’m really looking forward to meeting you and supporting you on your journey to feeling your best.
