About Sherry
Hi, I'm Sherry. Iâm a Registered Dietitian with LD and CDCES credentials, grounded in a BS in Food & Nutrition from North Dakota State University. Over 45 years in clinical and hospital settings, private practice, outpatient MNT and diabetes management, and self-employed consulting have shown me how every patient has a unique story. I love cooking, CrossFit, rural living, walking, biking, and time with my two granddaughters and my church community. I'm passionate about helping people build healthier lives through realistic, sustainable nutrition. I believe food should support your health and fit your lifestyleâwithout guilt or extremes. I work with individuals and families to create personalized plans that improve energy, manage chronic conditions, and promote long-term wellness. My goal is to empower you with simple, evidence-based strategies so you can feel confident and intentional in your food choices to enjoy eating again.
Approach to care
Together, we'll anchor our work in evidence-based science while keeping you at the center. I believe in compassionate, nonjudgmental care and a direct, action-oriented plan that moves you toward practical habits you can sustain. My approach is HAES-informed and holistic, treating you as a whole person, mental, emotional, and physical, addressing sleep, stress, and daily routines alongside meals. I aim to educate you so you can make informed decisions and own your health journey.
Your first session with Sherry
Our first session is all about you. We'll talk through your medical history, lifestyle, relationship with food, and what you want to achieve. If available, weâll review labs or biometrics and set short-term goals you can begin working toward this week. Itâs a low-pressure, collaborative conversation, and you donât need to have it all figured out. If youâre nervous, thatâs normal, and we'll go at your pace and tailor a plan that respects where you are today.
