About Shouk
I’m a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist with a passion for helping people build sustainable habits that support long-term health. I specialize in diabetes management, women’s health, and hormone-related concerns such as PCOS and uterine fibroids, as well as weight management and cardiovascular health. My goal is to help clients feel confident in nourishing their bodies without restriction or guilt. I believe that nutrition is deeply personal, and I’m committed to meeting each client where they are with compassion, evidence-based guidance, and realistic strategies that fit their lifestyle.
Approach to care
My approach to care is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and education. I focus on creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their relationship with food and health. Together, we’ll work to understand your goals, uncover barriers, and create practical steps that align with your individual preferences and cultural background. I emphasize balanced eating, mindfulness, and gradual change rather than quick fixes—helping you make choices that feel both nourishing and sustainable.
Your first session with Shouk
In our first session, we’ll get to know each other and discuss your health history, daily routines, and nutrition goals. I’ll listen carefully to understand what’s most important to you and identify any challenges you’ve faced along the way. Together, we’ll set personalized, achievable goals and outline a plan that feels doable and supportive. You’ll leave the session with a clearer understanding of how nutrition can fit naturally into your life, and with tools to start making positive, lasting changes.
