About Sierra
I was inspired to become a RD when I was in high school as an athlete and learned what an impact good nutrition habits and proper fueling strategies had on my athletic performance. I then became a bodybuilder in college and dealt with disordered eating patterns myself that opened my eyes to another side of nutrition. Not only do I focus on helping current athletes with their fueling regimens, but I also specialize in helping females optimize their hormone health and ditch the restrict binge cycle for good. After I finished school, I made stops at University of Kentucky, Georgia Southern University, Oakland University and Xavier University working as a collegiate strength and conditioning coach working primarily with women's basketball but have trained 16 different Division I collegiate sport teams. Besides running my private practice, I'm now am a traveling dietitian consultant where I take assignments around the country to work at hospitals in need of RDs.
Approach to care
Are you a competitive athlete looking to elevate your nutrition to fully unlock your potential? Are you a female looking to heal your relationship with food and exercise? Are you a female feeling "stuck" and have a feeling you might have a hormone imbalance? If you can relate to any of these you have to come to the right place. As a former athlete and now Registered Dietitian and Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach I'm so excited to get the opportunity to work with you!
Your first session with Sierra
When you start working with me as a client we will identify your goals together and come up with strategies to help you achieve those goals based on what inspires and motivates you. The best investment you can make is in yourself and your health. Your journey to better health is going to be challenging at times, so I always like to tell my clients to find joy in their journey. Finding joy in the small things you achieve throughout the day can make your bigger goals feel closer and more achievable. I am a life-long learner and am always willing to expand my current education and knowledge base to better serve my clients.
