About Sofia
Hello! I’m a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist with specialized experience in diabetes and nutrition management during pregnancy. My interest in nutrition began when my mother was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and shared how her dietitian and diabetes educator helped her feel confident and supported while learning how to manage her diabetes. That experience inspired me to pursue this work so I can support others in the same meaningful way.
Approach to care
My approach to care is working with people to make small and sustainable changes. I provide compassionate, judgment-free care focused on your real life. Together, we’ll create realistic goals, build confidence around food, and help you feel supported every step of the way.
Your first session with Sofia
In our first session, we’ll spend some time getting to know each other. We’ll talk about your health history, preferences, and current lifestyle so I can really understand your goals and what matters most to you. Together, we’ll create realistic, achievable goals and a plan to help you reach them. We’ll also discuss what kind of support and follow-up will be most helpful for you moving forward.
