About Sophia
Hi I'm Sophia! I'm a Registered Dietitian with a deep passion for nutrition, education, and the power of food to transform health. I have always been fascinated by how and what we eat can shape how we feel, function, and thrive! A lot of my career has been spent working with older adults in senior living communities ranging from independent living to skilled nursing/rehab facilities. I also have experience working children conducting cooking classes and after-school education programs.
Approach to care
My approach to care is person-centered, I want to help you better yourself in a way that works best for you. I believe in meeting people where they are and building practical, personalized strategies that fit into your life. Whether you're navigating a specific health condition, looking to build a better relationship with food, or simply aiming to feel your best, Iβm here to support and empower you with evidence-based guidance and compassionate care.
Your first session with Sophia
This is what to expect from your first session! I want to get to know you, your concerns/goals and learning how I can best support you! I like to learn about your current situation, things you may have tried that worked or didn't work, and your ideas. During our conversation, we may discuss: your current eating patterns and routines, any medical conditions, symptoms, or concerns, lifestyle factors like sleep, stress, and activity levels, your short- and long-term health goals, and what you hope to get out of working together!
