About Stacy
Hello. I have over 20 years of experience as a Dietitian, specializing in Geriatric and Older Adult Nutrition. I have worked in many areas of nutrition, including hospital inpatient, outpatient Cardiac Rehab, and food services management. My passion is promoting healthy aging through nutrition and maintaining quality of life.
Approach to care
I love bacon and donuts! Moderation and portion control are key, not elimination. Together, we will find a way to fit the foods you love into your meal plan. Let's make sustainable changes, set realistic goals, and have fun learning about food. Let's also investigate your perceived barriers to healthy eating, such as lack of time, cost of healthy food, and adjusting habits to favor a healthier diet.
Your first session with Stacy
During the first session, expect a comprehensive discussion of your medical history, lifestyle, and goals, which includes your dietary habits, exercise, sleep, and stress levels. I will then provide some initial nutrition education and begin collaboratively setting small, achievable goals for your personalized plan.
