About Stacy
Hi, I'm Stacy, a Registered Dietitian based in Fort Lauderdale with 25 years of experience. I earned my MS in Nutrition and Dietetics from Florida International University. My long and varied career has taken me from Trauma to TV to the kitchen. South Florida is a wonderfully diverse community in terms of culture, food, and lifestyle; I love incorporating all of these elements to meet you where you're at and guide your health journey. We'll discover the role food plays in your health challenge(s) whether it's weight-related, improving metabolic health through better blood glucose control, improving heart health or any combination thereof. I've helped countless people improve gut health and revitalize their lives. Bone health is a huge and growing concern for both women and men facing osteopenia/osteoporosis. Let's work together to build strength and resilience so you can live your best life!
Approach to care
My care philosophy blends evidence-based science with compassion and genuine empathy. I’ll partner with you in a collaborative, action-oriented process that translates into doable steps with measurable results. I consider sleep, stress, gut health, and activity, and I teach the "why" behind recommendations so you can own your choices. Together we'll build sustainable changes; celebrating your successes and addressing challenges along the way.
Your first session with Stacy
Our first appointment is all about you. We’ll review your medical history, labs or biometrics, establish short term goals, and talk about the tools we can use to build a personalized meal plan. We’ll discuss your unique preferences and priorities and see how they may be affected by lifestyle habits including sleep, dining out frequency, and home life supports and challenges. You don’t need to have everything figured out; think of it as a conversation, not an evaluation. We’ll conclude with 1 or 2 realistic goals and a clear plan for what to try first as well as plans on how to move forward in the weeks ahead. There's no judgement here, I'm your biggest cheerleader ... and sous chef!
