About Stefanie
I’m a bilingual dietitian (English/Spanish) with years of experience helping patients make sustainable, personalized changes to support their health. I currently work full-time in an outpatient clinic in Manhattan and completed my dietetic training at the Bronx VA. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Nutrition from NYU and approach care with curiosity, cultural humility, and a focus on the whole person.
Approach to care
I focus on helping patients make realistic, sustainable changes by meeting them where they are. I take time to understand each person’s lifestyle, preferences, and goals so that we can create a plan that feels manageable—not overwhelming. I believe in progress over perfection and emphasize small, consistent steps that can lead to meaningful, long-term results. My goal is to create a supportive, judgment-free space where patients feel heard, understood, and empowered.
Your first session with Stefanie
Our first session is 55 minutes long and is all about getting to know you. We’ll talk about your goals, your health history, and what brought you to nutrition counseling. This is also a chance for us to make sure we’re a good fit to work together. By the end of the session, we’ll set some personalized, realistic goals and schedule any follow-up visits you’d like. My aim is for you to leave feeling supported, understood, and ready to take the next step toward your health goals.
