About Stefany
Hi, I’m Stefany. With 14 years as a Registered Dietitian, I bring a blend of clinical insight, research curiosity, and community‑focused care to every session. My path spans hospital teams, research projects, community health work, and sports nutrition, all grounded in a BS in Dietetics from Purdue University. I carry my CD, LD, and RD credentials as a reminder to stay grounded in evidence, ethics, and care.
Approach to care
My approach is compassionate, weight-inclusive, and grounded in Health at Every Size principles. I believe true health is built through sustainable habits, self-trust, and personalized care—not restriction, shame, or one-size-fits-all plans. Patients often share that they feel safe, heard, and never judged in our work together. I ask thoughtful questions to deeply understand your story, simplify nutrition so it fits your real life, and support you in building confidence, self-accountability, and lasting self-efficacy. Rather than chasing perfection, we focus on steady, meaningful progress that aligns with your values, priorities, and long-term well-being. My role isn’t to control your choices—it’s to equip you with the clarity, skills, and encouragement to create sustainable change and a healthier future you feel genuinely hopeful about.
Your first session with Stefany
Your first session is a welcoming space to pause, reflect, and feel supported. We’ll explore your health history, current challenges, relationship with food, and the goals that matter most to you—whether that’s improving metabolic health, managing chronic disease, healing from dieting patterns, or supporting healthy aging. Together, we’ll identify realistic, encouraging next steps and begin building a clear, personalized path forward. You can expect a collaborative partnership focused on progress—not perfection—and guidance designed to help you feel more energized, confident, and at peace with food and your body.
Education
BS Dietetics, Purdue University
Hobbies
Outside of nutrition sessions, I’m usually in motion—running, lifting, or enthusiastically participating in any activity that reminds me movement is both medicine and humbling. I also love cooking, practicing guitar (occasionally with recognizable chords), and reading across psychology, medicine, philosophy, health, and technology. At any given time, I’m probably halfway through three books and one slightly overconfident kitchen experiment.
