About Stella
Hi, I'm Stella. I'm a Registered Dietitian with 45 years of experience, in supporting patients in clinical and hospital settings, private practice, long term care, and a Veteran Outpatient Clinic. I strive to blend science with empathy in every plan. I value the stories behind every meal and believe lasting change grows from small, meaningful steps. Outside of work, I love showing and trail riding Paso Fino horses and curling up with a good book.
Approach to care
Nutrition is not a one size fits all puzzle. I ground my practice in evidence-based guidelines, but the real work happens in our conversations. I’ll listen with warmth and curiosity, meet you where you are, and tailor practical steps that fit your life. We’ll set clear, doable actions and track progress together, focusing on sustainable habits rather than quick fixes. Education is central to my approach, helping you understand the why behind choices so you can confidently navigate food, emotions, and daily life.
Your first session with Stella
Our first appointment is all about you. We’ll begin by reviewing your medical history and current routines, then we’ll set short-term goals that feel attainable. I want to spend time getting to know you beyond the numbers, so we can weave your values and daily life into a plan that fits. There is no pressure to have everything figured out. We’ll talk through what matters most and outline simple steps as a beginning. Together, we’ll build a path toward lasting changes.
