About Stephanie
Nutrition grabbed my curiosity during graduate studies at UC Colorado Springs, where I earned an MS in Sports Nutrition, while working at the US Olympic Training Center. Over the past two years I’ve helped athletes of all ages, translating evidence into practical habits that fit busy lives and training schedules. Outside of appointments I love to cook, read, and tinker on adaptive equipment for children with disabilities, which keeps my problem-solving skills creative and grounded.
Approach to care
Science guides the recommendations I offer, and your life guides how we put them into practice. I use a weight-neutral lens, focusing on behaviors, function, and sustainability rather than numbers. My style is warm and nonjudgmental but also direct and action-oriented, so we leave each visit with clear steps. Education is central: together we'll translate research into doable strategies that respect your mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing.
Your first session with Stephanie
We’ll begin by reviewing your medical history and the context around your health goals, then take a deep, compassionate look at your relationship with food. This is a low-pressure conversation where you don’t need to have answers ready. By the end of the visit we’ll establish short-term, achievable goals and specific next steps so you walk away with practical actions and a sense of direction, not judgment or overwhelm.
