About Stephanie
Hi, I’m Stephanie. I bring 14 years as a Registered Dietitian and a lifelong curiosity about how food fuels our days. I earned my BS from Indiana University, an MS from Kent State, and MAEd from Virginia Tech, and I practice through a lens of evidence and compassion. My career has included sports nutrition and beyond, always focusing on sustainable, real-life change. I’m also credentialed as LDN, RDN, and CSSD, and additionally, I am a practicing Roman Catholic. When I’m not helping clients, you’ll find me running or lifting, walking my dog, praying the rosary, reading, savoring coffee, or enjoying a quiet puzzle or movie. I’m glad you’re here.
Approach to care
I meet you where you are and walk with you toward lasting health. My approach blends empathy and structure, anchored in current science, practical steps, and a holistic view of you as a person. I practice from a Health At Every Size perspective, focusing on behaviors and wellbeing rather than a diet on a scale. We’ll set achievable goals, celebrate small wins, and learn together how your body, mind, and environment interact. Education is core so you can make informed choices long after our sessions.
Your first session with Stephanie
Our first appointment is a warm, judgment-free conversation in which you do not need to have it all figured out. We'll start with a deep dive into your relationship with food and how it fits into your life today. We'll explore your history, routines, preferences, and goals at a pace that feels comfortable. You can expect a collaborative plan with one or two attainable steps to start. There is no pressure here; we'll move at a pace that respects you and meets you where you are.
