About Stephanie

Stephanie is a highly skilled, well-respected nutritionist with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics who worked in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospital acute care, nursing home, and office-based counseling. She specializes in the treatment of a wide range of chronic conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, cardiovascular disease, chronic kidney disease, and weight management. What sets Stephanie apart from other dietitians is a holistic, evidence-based approach to care, combining in-depth clinical expertise with personalized, practical solutions. Stephanie works closely with clients to tailor individualized nutrition plans that are both sustainable and effective, emphasizing lifestyle changes rather than restrictive diets. This approach ensures that clients not only achieve their health goals but maintain them long-term.

Approach to care

My approach to nutrition care, is recognizing that each individual’s journey is deeply personal, shaped by their unique experiences, challenges, and emotions. Many individuals face barriers to achieving their nutrition goals, whether it’s due to emotional struggles, cultural differences, lack of time, or previous experiences with diet plans that may not have worked. Acknowledging these challenges openly helps in building a supportive, non-judgmental space where my clients feel heard and valued. To uniquely support my clients, I tailor the nutrition care plan to their specific needs, preferences, and lifestyle. This means recognizing that there is no one-size-fits-all solution. A Collaborative co-create realistic, sustainable goals, helps them take ownership of their journey. Empowering them with knowledge, providing practical strategies, and being flexible to adapt the plan.

Your first session with Stephanie

At your first session please come prepare with any blood work, over-the-counter or prescription medications, past surgery, medical diagnosis and symptoms you are seeking help with. Expect a comprehensive oral nutrition assessment that might include a 24 hour food recall, food allergies, preferences, family meal dynamic, work schedule, cooking skill comfort level, etc. In addition to meal plan recommendation, I recognize the impact of herbs and spices on human health and understand the synergistic effects of phytochemicals. I guide my clients on a holistic health journey with the anti-inflammatory power of turmeric, digestive benefits of ginger, or the mood-enhancing qualities of saffron, enriching both body and spirit bringing to life that Food is Medicine
