Experienced clinical healthcare professional with a greater than 20 years experience from vast spectrum of disciplines- private practice, corporate fitness center, long-term care, wellness centers, hospitals, nutrition management and clinical research.
Approach to care
I take a person-centered approach. I prioritize understanding each client's health history, preferences and personal goals -not one-size-fits-all. I meet clients where they are. Through compassionate guidance, I help clients make gradual changes that last.
Your first session with Stephanie
5-10 minutes- Introduction and brief discussion of client's goals and reason for their visit. 15-25 minutes of information gathering- medical history, lab values (if available), medication/supplements, Digestive health/symptoms, weight history, lifestyle factors, diet intake history/relationship with food. - 10-15 minutes of nutrition education -10 minutes collaborative goal setting, establishing 2-3 goals for client to work towards until next visit. Session will end discussion for follow up frequency, expectations for future sessions
