About Stephanie

I’m a registered dietitian passionate about cutting through the clutter of health marketing to focus on what truly works for weight management and chronic disease prevention. I’ve spent years teaching diabetes education classes and helping clients reduce—sometimes even eliminate—their need for diabetes medications through realistic, sustainable changes. I also have experience in dialysis care, where individualized guidance is essential for kidney health. As a Spanish speaker who grew up with a Mexican-American diet, I understand the importance of culture, comfort foods, and balance. I enjoy helping clients modify traditional dishes so they can reach their goals without giving up what they love. My approach is simple: evidence-based guidance, realistic goals, and sustainable habits that help you feel your best without the overwhelm.

Approach to care

My approach to care is meeting you where you are. I believe lasting change starts with understanding your unique goals, challenges, and daily routines. Instead of rigid rules or one-size-fits-all plans, I focus on creating realistic strategies that fit your life and support steady progress. Together, we’ll build sustainable habits that feel achievable, empowering, and aligned with what matters most to you.

Your first session with Stephanie

During our first session, I’ll start by learning what you hope to accomplish and what matters most to you. We’ll talk through your current lifestyle, routines, and challenges so I can get a clear picture of where you’re starting from. If helpful, we may review some foundational nutrition concepts to build a fresh, realistic perspective around food. From there, we’ll work together to set meaningful, achievable goals that support the progress you want to make. My aim is for you to leave our visit with clarity, confidence, and a plan that feels doable.
