About Stephanie
I earned my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Nutrition from the University of Alabama and have six years of experience as a registered dietitian, working in clinical hospital settings and community health. As an RDN and LDN, I tailor visits and education to fit each patient’s lifestyle and culture so changes stick long term. When I’m off the clock you’ll find me cooking, doing pilates or lifting weights, reading, watching reality TV, or hanging out with my dog.
Approach to care
I believe evidence matters especially when it comes to our health. I combine science-driven guidance with a warm, nonjudgmental stance rooted in Health At Every Size, focusing on behaviors and wellbeing rather than a number on the scale. We’ll work together to learn what your body needs, translate research into practical steps, and set clear, actionable goals you can sustain. I prioritize whole-person health, teach the why behind recommendations, and adjust plans with empathy and accountability so progress feels realistic.
Your first session with Stephanie
Expect a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where we’ll review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics you bring. We’ll talk about what’s been working, what feels difficult, and how your daily life affects your nutrition choices. Together we’ll establish a couple of short-term, achievable goals and a clear next step, so you leave with direction.
