About Stephanie
Hi, I’m Stephanie! As a Registered Dietitian with over 16 years of experience, I’ve dedicated my career to helping people navigate their most complex health challenges. I am a Board Certified Specialist in Renal Nutrition, which means I’m uniquely qualified to walk alongside patients through the journey of kidney health—from managing high blood pressure and blood sugar to navigating dialysis and transplants. My background is diverse, ranging from geriatric care and developmental disabilities to psychiatric disorders and disordered eating. Whether you are looking to lose weight, manage a chronic condition, or need specialized guidance on modified diets, I meet you exactly where you are with evidence-based care and a compassionate heart.
Approach to care
My approach combines 16 years of clinical expertise with a deep respect for your individual journey. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all meal plans. Instead, I use evidence-based medical nutrition therapy to manage complex conditions, while ensuring the plan fits into your actual life, culture, and preferences.
Your first session with Stephanie
That first session is a big step! I truly look forward to getting to know you and value the privilege of entering your world. You can expect a safe, judgment-free space where we look at the "big picture" of your health journey. We won’t just talk about nutrition; we will walk through your challenges together, every step of the way, to build a lifestyle that feels both sustainable and empowering.
Education
I completed both my Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and my Master’s degree in Nutrition and Food Science—with a specialized concentration in Nutrition Education—at Montclair State University. And my Dietetic Internship through the College of Saint Elizabeth.
Hobbies
When I’m not working, I stay active with cardio kickboxing, running, and hiking. I love being part of my community choir and spending quiet afternoons gardening or working on arts and crafts. Most of all, I enjoy exploring new places with my husband or simply relaxing at home with our cat.
