About Stephanie
Hi, I'm Stephanie, a Registered Dietitian based in South Jersey with 10 years of experience. I earned a BS in Health & Nutrition Science from Brooklyn College and completed my Dietetic Internship at Queens College. I’m also credentialed as a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, and I love bringing my background into practice. My work spans private practice and community health, where I’ve learned that dieting does not harm than good, that all foods can fit, and that people of all sizes deserve dignity and respect in healthcare settings. When I’m not helping clients, you'll find me hiking, tending a garden, cooking, crocheting, or making something with my hands. I specialize in: eating disorders (ex: Anorexia, Bulimia, ARFID, Binge Eating), disordered eating, pediatric nutrition (including picky eating and infant nutrition), diabetes, heart health (ex: heart disease, hyperlipidemia, hypertension), GI concerns (ex: GERD, IBS, constipation), women's health.
Approach to care
My care philosophy centers on evidence-based, compassionate care. I believe in practices grounded in current research, and we'll approach your health together with curiosity and respect. We strive for sustainable habits and long-term change, not quick fixes or dieting culture. Embracing Health At Every Size (HAES) and an Intuitive Eating view, we'll consider mind and body, sleep, stress, and environment as part of your well-being. I aim to support you and your autonomy, so you feel empowered to make choices that fit your life. I am also proud to be a gender affirming and neurodiversity affirming provider. I believe people of all identities deserve respectful and compassionate care.
Your first session with Stephanie
Our first appointment is all about you. Think of it as a conversation where we'll review your medical history and dive into your relationship with food. We'll establish short-term goals together and seek to explore non-weight related goals. There's no need to come with perfect answers or a flawless plan. You won't be judged; we'll create a welcoming, collaborative space where your questions matter and your pace is respected.
