About Stephanie

I'm Stephanie, a passionate dietitian and certified preventative health specialist. With experience as a collegiate sports dietitian , I’ve worked with athletes to optimize performance. My clinical role showed me how preventing diseases could change lives, which led to my focus on health promotion. I also serve as an outpatient dietitian and adjunct instructor, teaching various nutrition courses. Currently, I’m the president of our local chapter of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, where I strive to support our community's health and wellness.

Approach to care

My approach to nutrition care is rooted in the belief that food is medicine and that each individual’s health journey is unique. I embrace a functional medicine perspective, focusing on the root causes of health issues rather than just treating symptoms. I work collaboratively with my patients, empowering them to make informed choices that support their overall well-being. I believe in creating a non-judgmental, compassionate space where success is shared—your progress is my success. Together, we focus on long-term health, not quick fixes, to achieve lasting, positive outcomes.

Your first session with Stephanie

In your first nutrition counseling session, you can expect a welcoming, non-judgmental environment where we begin by getting to know each other. I believe you are the expert of your own life, and my role is to partner with you on your health journey. We’ll start with a comprehensive nutrition assessment to understand your current habits, goals, and challenges. I’ll also ask about your values, motivations, and the reasons behind your desire for change. Together, we’ll set clear, actionable steps that will help you achieve your health goals, focusing on sustainable progress at your own pace.
