About Stephanie
Hello, my name is Stephanie and I am so excited to be your dietitian! I have been a registered dietitian for 7 years, I love helping people improve their nutritional status and reach their health goals. I look forward to working with you and being a part of your journey!
Approach to care
My approach to care: I will listen to what is important to you. I encourage and teach moderation, intuitive eating and meal planning. I am flexible and will not pressure you to do more sessions than you want, however I will recommend a plan of what would be most beneficial to you to reach your goals. I determine this after your first session after getting a baseline of your current health status and learning what you want to get out of your sessions.
Your first session with Stephanie
What to expect in your first session: I will ask what is important to you, what are your goals. Then we will do a thorough intake of your current health status including past medical history, weight history, medications, labs, diet recall, physical activity. Nutrition education and counseling will follow according to what is most pertinent. Together we will set 1-2 realistic, short term goals for next follow up. I will summarize our session and we will discuss when your next session will be if you find it helpful and decide it is a good fit.
